Zentangle Studio Scoop

I was introduced to Zentangle last year, when I came to know about a workshop organized by one of the Certified Zentangle Teacher Angie Vangalis in our city's art association. I instantly fell in love with the intricate designs.

My father's journal... my first inspiration.

My father's journal is one of my initial inspirations for making art.

How Ganesha got the elephant head and the big belly??

I grew up listening to a no: of mythological stories from my Grampa....I loved the way he narrated and would ask him to repeat them over and over..Here is one on how Ganesha got his elephant head.

PAA Art Gives Back

The Plano Art Association has partnered with the Plano library system to create a new community art exhibit to be displayed in all Plano libraries. Art Gives Back is an opportunity  for artists to help the city of Plano libraries in these tough times. Also, it is an opportunity for the artists to raise their profile. Sales of the artworks will be split between the artist and the library, who will use it to buy art books.

All about the new series "Ganesha - The Obstacle Remover"

"Ganesha - The Obstacle Remover"  is my latest collection of artwork. Ganesha is my favourite among the deities  of Hinduism. He is very popular in the western and the southern India.
In the south, almost very coner of the street would have atleast a tiny temple dedicated to Ganesha. So going about the daily business, we are bound to meet him at very walk on the street. Which I find very reassuring..
