On my own

"On my own" is my first for my 30 paintings in 30 days challenge that I am doing this month.... I did two such challenges last year...which were difficult but extremly inspiring... For this challenge my theme is scenes from and around Pulicat Lake which is about 60 Kms up north from Chennai and very close to my in-laws town Sullurpeta...
It is a salt water lake and kind of the backwaters of the Bay of Bengal sea....The lake is very interesting as its landscape changes with season..Since its winter now...the lake has vistors in the form of migratory birds from Siberia, China and far north....
Here is a Painted Stroke on an early morning all by itself.... enjoying the quite water and the first sun rays..
Apart from painting 30 paintings in 30 days, I intend to use only palette knife these 30 days...
